2011 - Project MAX
Flashing back to April 2011 when #MLGW volunteers built wheelchair ramps as part of a community service program called Project MAX. MLGW employees formed Project MAX in 1984 with a mission to give back to the city of Memphis and Shelby County. On this day in 2011 two crews of volunteers spent the day in the Frayser neighborhood building wheelchair ramps for older customers in need of a little assistance. #ServingYouIsWhatWeDo

Last Week's Flashback Friday
2015 - A-Blazing Solar Car Race
This Friday we’re taking you back to 2015 and “The Big Mac.” #MLGW partners with Shelby County Schools’ Project Green Schools for the A-Blazing Solar Car Race. Local 8th graders attend training and apply principles of energy and physics to build a solar powered car. The all-female team from Sherwood Middle School took home the top prize in spring 2015 when their car, The Big Mac, won the race. MLGW offers all kinds of public education programs for students and adults.
